On the afternoon of February 26, 2021, more than 120 people from member companies of  China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA), Adelaide branch and Australia China Business Council (ACBC) South Australia Branch gathered at the famous Penfolds Magill Winery at the foot of the Adelaide Hills in South Australia to celebrate Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival, and narrate friendship and pragmatic cooperation.

This event was co-organized by CCCA Adelaide Branch and ACBC South Australia Branch, sponsored by Bentley Motors and Penfolds Winery. This is also the third consecutive year that CCCA Adelaide Branch and ACBC South Australia Branch have jointly held a Chinese New Year celebration.

 

In his speech, Mr Sean Keenihan, President of the ACBC South Australia Branch, pointed out that the friendly cooperation between Australia and China has contributed to the 30 years of vigorous development of the Australian economy. Although bilateral relations are facing many challenges today, cooperation is still the biggest consensus of the Australian and Chinese business people.

Mr Chen Chunya, vice president of CCCA Adelaide Branch and head of Bank of China Adelaide branch, said that as long as China and Australia uphold the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit and continue to promote understanding and mutual trust, they will surely overcome difficulties and achieve win-win.
