On March 28, China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) Brisbane Branch successfully held its 2024 annual summary conference. The meeting reviewed key events of 2024, outlined major activities planned for 2025, awarded certificates to new member companies, and recognized outstanding member enterprises and individuals for their contributions in 2024. Nearly 50 representatives from member organizations attended the event, which was hosted by committee member Ms. Zhang Yang.

The conference began with a message from Consul General Ruan Zongze of the Chinese Consulate-General in Brisbane, who extended his congratulations and best wishes for the event. President Peng Zhengxin presented a report on the Chamber’s activities in 2024, financial overview, and key initiatives for 2025. Over the past year, the Brisbane Branch has focused on strengthening corporate governance and compliance, fostering sustainable business practices, enhancing bilateral cooperation between China and Australia, promoting cultural integration, fulfilling social responsibilities, and improving the Chamber’s internal operations to better serve its members. As a result, the Chamber has significantly increased its influence and cohesion. Looking ahead to 2025, the Chamber aims to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation, promote cultural exchanges, enhance risk management and compliance, and foster greater unity among members. It will continue to provide an expanded platform and improved services to help member enterprises enhance their competitiveness, visibility, and overall impact.

President Peng Zhengxin awarded certificates to five newly joined member companies and invited them to introduce their businesses to the attendees. In addition, honorary certificates were presented to outstanding member enterprises and individuals who made remarkable contributions in 2024.

 

The conference also featured an interactive Q&A session where committee members and company representatives engaged in discussions. Panelists shared insights into the latest industry trends, while audience members actively participated by contributing their own perspectives and strategies. The engaging dialogue created a lively and collaborative atmosphere, strengthening the bonds among member companies and broadening their business horizons. The session was highly effective, receiving positive feedback from all participants.

In closing, President Peng Zhengxin expressed gratitude to all attendees and Chamber members for their dedication over the past year. Looking forward to 2025, the Chamber will continue adhering to its principle of “serving member enterprises,” creating better business opportunities, providing industry insights, strengthening connections with Chinese-funded and local Australian enterprises, and expanding its influence both domestically and internationally. The Chamber aims to help member enterprises achieve even greater success in the coming year.
