On the afternoon of December 8, 2022, China Chamber of Commerce (CCCA) National Committee Meeting was successfully held in Canberra. A total of more than 40 people including the presidents of CCCA state branches, executive directors, directors, and authorized representatives attended the meeting. Gao Feng, Minister Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Australia, and the heads of the commercial organizations of every state attended the meeting.

Secretary-General Chen Min delivered the 2022 CCCA Work Report to the committee on behalf of Chairman Chen Zheyu.

Industrial committees such as Legal and Compliance Committee, Financial Industry Committee, National Energy Commission, Aviation Committee, Women Leadership Committee, and Foreign Relations Committee also summarized 2022 work and reported plans for the next year. King & Wood Mallesons, the legal advisor of CCCA, then made a summary of the legal compliance work.

The meeting also voted and approved the new president and vice president of CCCA, and the change of the chairman of some committee units and industry committees in Australia.

Counselor Ye Wei of the Consulate General in Sydney made a concluding speech. Counselor Ye said that CCCA should play a greater role in serving enterprises and promoting economic and trade cooperation. It is hoped that CCCA will make friends, expand its influence, tell Chinese stories well, and enhance the image and reputation of Chinese-funded enterprises; it is necessary to strengthen self-discipline , optimize services, and enhance the sense of gain and cohesion of Chinese-funded enterprises; innovate, enhance, and work together to do a good job in all aspects of CCCA.
