On the morning of November 10th 2020, China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) successfully held a video conference to welcome Consul General Zhou Limin (Ambassadorial Rank) and meet with the leadership of the Chamber. President of CCCA and Sydney branch, Chen Zheyu, Honorary President, Chen Huaiyu, directors of industry committee, vice-president of Sydney branch and Commercial Consul of the Consulate-General in Sydney, Wang Long attended the meeting.

Consul General Zhou Limin highly recognized the achievements of CCCA, especially the pandemic prevention work. He pointed out that for a long time, CCCA has made positive contributions to strengthen China-Australia bilateral relations and promote bilateral economic and trade development. During the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic, CCCA timely established prevention and control measures and plans, organized member units to donate money and materials, and worked hard to serve member units and Chinese-funded enterprises. He hopes that CCCA will make full use of the chamber platform while continuing to prevent and control the pandemic. On the one hand, it will strengthen the construction of the system and give full play to its own advantages. On the other hand, it will make friends and strengthen cooperation with other Australian business associations and institutions to achieve win-win.

President Chen said that CCCA will continue to guide member units to do a good job in pandemic prevention and control, actively promote China-Australia trade and investment cooperation, play a role as a bridge and better serve member units of CCCA.

Honorary President, Chen Huaiyu, directors from Financial Industry Committee, Legal and Compliance Committee, Aviation Committee, Association of Women Entrepreneurs, National Energy Commission, Council of Foreign Relations and  vice-president of Sydney branch  introduced the relevant work of CCCA and each committee.
