On the afternoon of August 28, 2025, China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) Sydney branch in partnership with Tong Ren Tang Australia, successfully held a “Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Lecture and Expert Free Clinic.” The event attracted nearly 50 representatives from member companies and TCM enthusiasts, both online and onsite, creating a lively atmosphere and generating positive responses.
Tong Ren Tang’s team of senior TCM experts delivered a lecture focused on “The Advantages and Practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Health Preservation and Chronic Disease Prevention,” which was also livestreamed to facilitate remote participation by more members. The lecture, presented in a comprehensive and accessible format, incorporated numerous case studies, helping attendees gain a deeper understanding of the unique value of TCM in modern health management.
In the subsequent free consultation session, attendees received one-on-one TCM consultations based on their appointments. Three senior physicians from Tong Ren Tang Australia—Dr. Yin Yining, Dr. Liu Hongshi, and Dr. Xiao Yayin—provided personalized treatment recommendations. Drawing on years of clinical experience and a blend of Chinese and Western medicine approaches, they provided valuable health guidance to Chinese Australians.
This event not only promoted health knowledge but also served as a significant example of the dissemination and implementation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture in Australia. Through collaboration with Tong Ren Tang, member companies and the wider community gained access to TCM healthcare concepts that are more relevant to everyday life and more scientifically grounded.
Moving forward, the Sydney branch will continue to serve as a bridge, leveraging resources to promote health and cultural exchange, serve the needs of member companies, and foster China-Australia non-governmental health cooperation and cultural exchange.
